Fur Vest

Wearing: Simply be fur, Forever 21 jean/leather jacket, ASOS tunic, ASOS booties, Marc by Marc Jacobs bag

I have been having so much fun with this faux fur vest from Simply Be! Especially being the middle of the winter I have had to find new ways to layer in a fun way. A great faux fur can literally go with just about everything! So far I have worn thrown over a denim jacket and with a pair of jeans and a sequin top.  xox Margie

2014 In #OOTD Review

2014 has been quite a year! I started the year off by going to London with Evans for fashion week (my first time out of the country eep). I was featured in a 6 page editorial curated by the talented Lena Dunham for the UK magazine called Stylist. Last but not least I got back into music and released an album called "Radio Ratchet" under Margie and its available on Spotify and iTunes. I feel like this year was all about self discovery and I feel great about what I have achieved thus far and am beyond excited about the year to come! Be on the lookout for some awesome top secret blogger collaboration's to come ..

Sweater Weather

Wearing: ASOS hat (similar), The Cut for Evans sweater, Simply Be shoes, Sock Dream socks, GiGi New York purse

I have been totally enjoying this burst of semi warm weather we have been having in NYC! Since I refuse to acknowledge it is really winter outside I decided to winterize my favorite jean cut off shorts with this super cute, and super warm, oversized sweater that Evans sent me from their new line The Cut. I love a good thigh high and these Sock Dream knit ones are perfect for the season! Also… how awesome is my GiGi New York bag ? I love that it can not only be monogramed but can convert into a cross body if needed.

Trench Crop Coat

Wearing: Eloquii jacket, Mossimo shirt (similar), Eloquii leggings, ASOS shirt (similar around waist), American Apparel socks , Converse shoes

I have been playing with a very similar "uniform" lately of high waisted pants/leggings and a plaid around the waist. In an attempt to mix up this look I decided to play with the print I tied around my waist and convert a denim shirt into a crop. When I came across this convertible trench (It can be long and short!) I knew I had to have it. What I love about this jacket is that it pretty much can be paired with pretty much anything! I paired the classic camel colored crop jacket with the look and a black trucker hat to finish it off. For a pop of color to my standard black and white converse I also wore a pair of my favorite bold tube socks.
