While going through the photos from lasts month LA trip I came across these gems. After the first night of Lucky FABB Kelsi from Dedicated Follower of Fashion and our  girl Gina went out to hang for a bit in Hollywood. On our way back to the hotel I had Kelsi snap some fun shots of me in my outfit. I am pretty obsessed with this vintage floral dress. I got it at a local thrift store and hemmed the stunner to make it more "my style".

Moto Jacket and a Scarf Dress

Wearing: Asos Moto, Asos Dress, Asos heels, Asos socks 

I have definitely got a lot of wear out of this amazing short sleeve printed scarf dress from Asos. It fits me so well ( got in as size 18) and I feel like I can easily dress up or down. I have worn it with everything from booties to kitten heels and moto to military jackets. Speaking of moto jackets this has to be the sturdiest real leather moto I have seen in a while ! Most plus size brands offer moto jackets that are faux leather and do not have the best construction. This moto jacket has a hefty weight to it and is perfect for the colder weather !

Snapback's and Silverlake

Sooooo I must say I have definitely jumped on the snapback train. When I saw my girl Bebe Zeva wearing a similar studded gem at WWD Magic, I knew I had to have one. These pics are from an impromptu photo shoot I had my friend Kelsey take before we hit the Cha Cha room in Silverlake a few weeks ago. I call this my fly girl outfit. I love basically anything gold and GAWDY ..so this thrifted jacket is a perfect addition to my life. Anyways, I am totally digging snapbacks so dont be surprised if you see me in them all summer ( I want to DIY one that says "plus" in gold plated).

Torrid Video: Behind The Scenes

I cant tell you how rad it was to visit the Torrid headquarters while I was in LA to film a behind the scenes vide ( WATCH HERE, or in the post below) . For those of you who do not know, Hottopic actually owns Torrid and their HQs are located in the same building. Having worked for Hottopic for quite  few years as my first job when I was 16 it was surreal being there. All of the staff were super nice and it was so exciting to see the sneak peeks at what pieces are coming for summer !

 While in L.A for the amazing Lucky FABB conference this last April, I had the pleasure of visiting the headquarters of plus size retailer Torrid, where the team took me behind the scnes to see where all the "magic" happens—and gave me a sneak peek at their upcoming summer looks. What can you expect? A lot of chiffon layering pieces, awesome colors, and statement prints. Exciting!

Cobalt Blue Maxi

Can I just start off by saying how much I love this outfit! It is super comfortable and I am so stocked I found a vintage harley looking tee from ASOS. The skirt is actually a maxi tank dress that I used the base for my layering ( its totally not the short in real life, I prob should have pulled down the slit ...oops lol ) . These shoes totally remind me of the Alexander Wang's I have been in awe over for quite some time but are only like $50 !

Boostcase, Bollare, etc

While I was in LA a few weeks ago I got the chance to meet up with my boos Chanelle and Stephanie ( of the blogs Penelopee Times & Honey N' Silk) at Bollare. It was rad to be able to see Bollare's new offices which was two floors of amazingness. They were holding an event on the bottom floor for Boostcase, Coloud headphones, and nails by NCLA. Besides the rad Boostcase's that have a built in charger .. which is pretty much a MUST in the city.. was the cute Boostcase wallets with a chain purse strap built in. On the second floor I had the opportunity to preview the amazing new line from AS by DF pictured above. Though it is not plus size I loved seeing the super chic pieces. I mean, those leather striped dress and high waisted shorts were MAJ.
